Hello from the middle of the Atlantic sea!
Novae’s hopping on in a few hours here — 10am, PST! — to continue his series about how to use his app (currently free for all subscribers!) to make movies, TV, vertical dramas, and films with! It’s fierce AF!
I am still trapped w/poor wifi, but I’m doing better than whoever is in the medical bay downstairs, that the captain asked for blood donors for earlier, during breakfast! We’re literally 2.5 sea days out from where we left, and where we’re landing, so I hope they got some donors! (I was the wrong type, alas.)
Also today I am, in high theory, lord willing and the wifi behaves, uploading 20 some odd new ebooks in all the langs (image gen for the covers has been A Process, as you might imagine w/my wifi) and setting up some new Facebook ads for my Kickstarter, which is now at 192 followers!
That’s being almost entirely pushed by Facebook ads, since I’ve given up on using social media till I get home, but I’m really jazzed. It’s running about $1.50 a lead so far, which is perfectly in the tolerable zone, if you do the math of followers-to-future-pledges vs expected profit margin, so I’m super, super pleased.
I also took some time out yesterday to seriously apply for a job at OpenAI. I have no idea what, if anything, will come of that, but I seemed to be uniquely qualified for it and if nothing else I’m a girl who takes moonshots.
So much so that I sicced a reminder on cruising their job site for anything that might agree w/me on a weekly basis, JIC I don’t get this job but something else comes up.
(Would I ditch my entire current life to work at a frontier lab, going so far as to give up my currently gloriously short hospital commute and part-time-nature? Yes. Yes I would. I would go so fast there’d be cartoon clouds behind me. I already work full time with AI, what would be the change, LOL?)
Anyhow! I’ll try to hop on today for a bit, but if I can’t make it, know that I am with you in spirit and always in AI ;) <3
